Havent been on in a while, but I have alot of news.

First, I am working at the Electric City Tattoo Convention in Scranton, PA March 18, 19 and 20. Info is on www.kirknilsen.com

Got to do some fun tattoos the other day, the grim reaper is a cover up of a small rose/tribal thing, and the mermaid is on the side of a leg/buttox/ribs, its hard to tell but to the right is a rear end and the left is a crotch region. Just thought I'd point that out:

Did this cool tattoo today, it was based off an original painting I made, and he wanted me to make the hand into a skeletal hand and make everything else darker and less alive. Had fun with this!

The Devil Likes Tips / Cappuccino on your car

Here is a new painting I made:

And I figured I'd post something on here non-tatoo reltaed, other than I was driving to work.

Today I was getting some frames, and decided to check another store. My girlfriend was with me and decided we should drive to this one place on the way to my work and she would just drop me off and pick me up later. She wasn't paying attention when the one light turned green and some crazy woman behind us started blaring her horn and giving us the finger.

So my girlfriend decided to drive slow, and the woman went crazy and got in front of us and swerved back on forth inbetween 2 lanes without stopping so no one could pass her. Literally back and forth; not one lane for a minuite than the next, it was lane to lane like she was just driving on a winding road.

Well after we had a few words at the next red light and I told her I was going to rip her brain out through her eye sockets; and after I tried throwing my cappuccino at her but in a fit of rage squeezed it so hard that the top burst off and it spilt all over myself; we got behind her at a red light. My good companion then parked the car, got out, walked up to her car calmly and dumped her cappuccino all over the front window, side and back of the car. We then got back in the car and continued on our way. The woman had nothing left to say and remained in her vehicle.

My good friend Mike from River City Extension came in and we did this tribute to his cat, Babbette. He gave me a rough sketch of the cat and let me do whatever else I wanted, so I shape dit up a bit, threw in a banner, roses, etc. Thanks for leting me do this one, had alot of fun.

Been drawing alot of line drawings for a sketchbook / cool custom designs to pick from. I drew up things I think would make awesome tattoos, so if anyone wants one, just pick through my book. Once its on you the sketch goes in the trash, so no one else can have it.

I hear you are supposed to talk on these blog things. I just like posting pictures, so, I'll say something today:

So instead of doing this cover up of words with more words, we did brass knuckles! Much more fun and makes for a better tattoo. I was going to post the before picture but this doesnt even look like a cover up so it's not necessary.

Also, I'm super excited because I got my new foot switches in from Luckys, I posted a picture of them here:

And to end this post; I have been drawing tons and tons of line drawings of cool fun tattoos, so if anyone is looking for a new design, I got tons. Just stop by the shop and look through my book, I'm not posting them online.

Fun tattoo I did the other day. It was a walk in / flash sheet design that I re-drew. I kept the cross but I drew my own rose, leaves, banner, color, etc since the ones in the design looked awful.

I did an awesome fun tattoo on Daves buttcheek...it's not finished, he came in real late. we have to color in the hat and add an orb glowing. also, his stomach is all white and light/neon yellows pinks and greens, it just didn't show up in the pic. it's slimer from the ghost busters if you didn't know.

ALSO, I'm working on my first official flash set. I'm excited.
